Frequently Asked Questions

  • We want to provide inclusive volunteering opportunities. If you have a disability, please contact us to discuss your accessibility needs so that we can ensure you are matched with an opportunity that suits your skills and needs.

  • In general, there’s no minimum time volunteers must give, but there are some activities which require more time and involvement than others. You can liaise with the project lead about how much time you have as and when volunteer opportunities arise.

  • We don't have an age limit for volunteers. We welcome volunteers of all ages as long as they feel able to make a valuable and safe contribution. Under 18s must have permission to volunteer and be accompanied by a parent or guardian to supervise.

  • Generally, volunteering roles do not require any training or previous experience. There may, however, be some informal training and skills sharing provided when taking part in certain projects.
